The fifth-gen Honda City's AC control dials work with a lovely click and the lighting to indicate increase or decrease in temperature is cool (pun intended!) too.
Autocar India's first short is just mind blowing 😄
Odd that we have to do whatever it takes to make the manufacturers not ditch the manual dials!
Yup proud owner of this ✌️
Can we replace the touch senors on the 4th gen with these wonderful knobs?
May be only they worked on interiors because 4th gen still better than this.
No knob for volume though 😒
Meanwhile in some other cars we need to search users manual to find thise controls 😂
One click = 0.5 degrees
I do it everytime when the car is on idle......😂😂
An amazing switch from the old version of controls. I have the 2017 version of Honda city, although an amazing car, sometimes the AC controls are altered due to an accidental touch and can be quite annoying at times.
The sound it makes is so Annoying 🤮
Damn the lights looks so cool !
honda is honda
That temperature colour ring is far more attractive
Even more expensive cars don’t have buttons that change colour depending on the direction you turn it. Proud owner of the all new city
i doubt that . almost every expensive car has that colour sync for climate controls directly or indirectly
4 things I don't want car manufacturers to change: 1. Radio Tuner Knob 2. Media Volume Control Knob 3. AC fan speed knob 4. AC temperature control knob. I like knobs.
Everyone likes Knobs❤
I can feel it man
Opening a bank locker
They are irritating 🙄
Oh man..! Don't they just irritate you. They can be silent clicks though which will be satisfying.
@V V S well the ppl i know including me does rotate them all the time. the wole purpose of ppl asking these things to be buttons for easier reach since they are commonly and widely used
You are not rotating them all the time
Honda took 2steps forward with the looks and feel of the new city and one step back with the horrendous reversing camera which they are also using on the new civic which is available in international markets.
And ridiculously overpriced, that's the reason sales are low
What will a good price range for a used 2019 civic Zx Automatic Petrol which has done 25,000 km. Will you recommend it over the new 5th gen Honda City?
should be about 10-11 lakhs depending on the condition, if your budget allows the 5th gen city is a major upgrade and is worth going for
No , because civic only has an auto and doesn't have the VTEC charm due to rubber band effect
If vezel hrv comes to india its gonna be gg
Thanks now I will hear this whole day 😍🤤
Now imagine the Cruelty of Touch screen AC Controls!
It's even miserable when they use speakers to give the sound feedback
@random_ cocaine46 that's dangerous Screens have no feedback
@random_ cocaine46 In a way, it's a safety mechanism. If your car's open, thieves won't have access to the glovebox.
Imagine you have to touch the screen to open glove box lol like in a tesla
Lifted from the accord. Wish they give us similar touchscreen experience from the accord unlike the pixelated screen and one of the worst reversing cameras I have seen ever.
@Karthik S S true
exactly, the screen resolution is pathetic (although the touch respose is not as terrible as last gen city)... I tried mirrorlink once and it felt like seeing something from the old Nokia button phone and 3gp video days!!
True..My 4 year old I20 have much better camera than this...
nice... haptic feedback
Oh I love these!
